Exam AI-900: Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals
Core AI and machine learning concepts, and the Azure services that implement them.
40 practice questions · Foundational
What you’ll learn
- Describe core machine learning concepts and the main workload types
- Identify the Azure service that fits a given AI scenario
- Apply the six Microsoft responsible AI principles
- Recognise computer vision and NLP workloads on Azure
- Describe generative AI features and Azure OpenAI Service
About this exam
AI-900 is Microsoft's entry point into AI on Azure. It covers the vocabulary and the service map: what machine learning actually is, the workloads Azure AI covers — computer vision, natural language processing, document intelligence, generative AI — and which Azure service you would reach for in each case. It also covers responsible AI, which carries real weight on the exam.
No data science background is assumed. If you can describe what a model does at a conceptual level and match a scenario to the right Azure service, you are in range.
